Crane Cooling System Parts
Cranes cover a broad range of lifting equipment, and cooling system layouts can differ significantly between machine types, manufacturers and model series. Engine location, available installation space and equipment configuration all affect the cooling components used on a particular crane.
For this reason, replacement cooling parts should be identified from the specific machine rather than from the general term “crane.”

Cooling Components for Crane Applications

The radiator is part of the engine coolant system and is designed around the installation requirements of the machine.
Crane radiators can differ in core dimensions, tank orientation, hose positions, mounting brackets and surrounding frame structure. An OEM number is useful where available, but dimensional confirmation may also be required for some inquiries.

Depending on the crane design, oil coolers may be used within machine systems that require oil temperature management.
The relevant replacement component must match the actual connection arrangement and physical structure. Port locations and mounting features should therefore be visible in inquiry photographs whenever possible.

Intercoolers may be used with applicable turbocharged engine configurations. Their function is associated with the charge-air system, but not every crane uses the same arrangement.
Identification should be based on machine model, engine or part information and the existing component.
Why Detailed Part Information Matters
Crane equipment families often contain multiple configurations. A similar machine designation does not necessarily mean that all cooling system components are identical.

The most effective starting point is the exact machine model together with the original part number where available. If a number cannot be found, provide accurate dimensions and photographs rather than relying on a visually similar product.
